How the Trade-In Process Works:

1. Bring In Your Used Paddle:
   Visit our store and bring in your gently used pickleball paddle. Our knowledgeable staff will assess its condition and provide you with a fair evaluation.
2. Receive Store Credit:
   Once your paddle is evaluated, you'll receive store credit that can be used immediately or saved for future purchases. This credit can be applied to a new paddle or any other products available at Northstar Pickleball.
3. Explore New Options:
   With your store credit in hand, explore our extensive collection of new and used paddles, accessories, and apparel. We're confident you'll find something that perfectly suits your playing style.

Used Pickleball Paddle Condition Grading System:

Below is the grading system used to judge the condition of used paddles that are brought in or sent in to Northstar Lacrosse and Pickleball

1. Like New: A

• Paddle has minimal signs of use.
• No scratches, dents, or chips.
• Grip and edge guard are in excellent condition.

2. Excellent: A-

• Paddle shows light signs of use.
• Minor surface scratches or scuff marks.
• Grip and edge guard are still in good condition.

3. Very Good: B+

• Paddle has noticeable signs of use.
• Some surface scratches and wear.
• Grip and edge guard may show moderate wear but are still functional.

4. Good: B

• Paddle has visible signs of use and wear.
• Multiple scratches and scuff marks on the surface.
• Grip and edge guard may show significant wear but are still usable.

5. Fair: C

• Paddle has significant wear and tear.
• Scratches, dents, or chips may be present.
• Grip and edge guard may need replacement.

6. Poor: D or F

• Paddle is heavily damaged or broken.
• Significant structural issues affecting performance.
• Grip and edge guard may be severely damaged.

Terms and Conditions:

1. Bring your pickleball paddles to the store during our open hours or send them by mail to 774 Main Street, Hopkins, MN, 55343.
1a. Please note that Northstar Lacrosse and Pickleball won't cover any shipping fees.
1b. If you mail in your paddles and later decide to have them shipped back for any reason, there will be a shipping charge.

2. Our friendly team at Northstar Pickleball will assess your paddle conditions using the grading system mentioned above. The evaluation is done by our on-site staff during your visit or by our managers and employees when paddles are sent by mail.

3. Unfortunately, pickleball paddles falling into the 'D or F' category won't qualify for the trade-in program. However, you can still do a good deed by donating them to Northstar Lacrosse and Pickleball. We'll pass them on to the Big Brother Big Sister program right here in Minnesota. Thanks for making a positive impact!

4. The store credit for used paddles is determined based on the paddle's current retail value, as well as the condition of the paddle. This value ranges from 20% to 40% of the paddle's current market retail value.
